Years in the mental health field

Hi, I'm Nessrin.

I'm a fully licensed professional counselor, a woman, a mother, a partner, and a person of color with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. Based in Southeastern Michigan, I built Wellness & Co to bring that depth into coaching and workshops — spaces where real psychoeducation, creativity, and practical tools meet.

As a millennial myself, I understand what our generation and Gen Z are navigating — the pressure, the identity questions, the cultural weight, and the quiet exhaustion. You're not imagining it. And you don't have to figure it out alone.

My work is rooted in Internal Family Systems (Parts Work) and Narrative approaches — helping you understand the different parts of yourself and reauthor the stories that have been holding you back. I am committed to you finding your path.

Ways we can work together

Whether you're drawn to the intimacy of one-on-one coaching, the energy of a group, or the creative power of expressive arts — there's a container here that fits where you are right now. All offerings are grounded in Parts Work, psychoeducation, and tools you can actually use.

Parts Work (IFS) Workshops

Who This Is For

Made for women who are done performing okay.

Wellness & Co was built with millennial and Gen Z women of color in mind — those of us carrying cultural expectations, navigating identity questions, and often putting everyone else's needs above our own inner work.

This is for you if:

  • You feel like different parts of you want different things — and that's exhausting
  • You've been told you're "too much" or "not enough" — and you've started to believe it
  • You want to understand your mental wellness, not just manage symptoms
  • You're looking for tools, not just validation
  • You want a space that actually gets your experience as a millennial or Gen Z woman of color
  • You're ready to reauthor your story — on your own terms
Our Approach

We blend psychoeducation, Parts Work, and narrative tools — not to label or diagnose, but to help you understand yourself and build a life that actually reflects who you are.

The Community

A culturally sensitive space for women of color navigating identity, generational patterns, relationships, and self-discovery — with someone who has lived it too.

The Commitment

I am committed to you finding your path. Not a prescribed one. Yours — reauthored, embodied, and yours to keep.

Is this coaching or therapy? What's the difference?

+

Wellness & Co offers coaching and workshops — not therapy or clinical mental health treatment. Coaching is forward-focused, educational, and strengths-based. We use tools like Parts Work and narrative approaches to build self-awareness and personal growth. If you're looking for clinical care, I'm happy to help point you in the right direction.

What is Parts Work / IFS — do I need prior knowledge?

+

No prior knowledge needed at all. Internal Family Systems (IFS) views the mind as made up of distinct "parts" — each with its own feelings, roles, and wisdom. We start from scratch and build your understanding together. It's one of the most accessible and genuinely transformative frameworks I've worked with.

Do I need art experience for the expressive arts workshops?

+

Not at all. These workshops aren't about making "good" art — they're about using the creative process as a doorway into your inner experience. All you need is curiosity and a willingness to show up.

Are sessions available online?

+

Yes — all 1-on-1 coaching and most workshops are available virtually so you can join from wherever you are. In-person workshops are available in Southeastern Michigan; reach out through the intake form to ask about upcoming dates.

How do I know if this is the right fit for me?

+

The intake form is where we start. It's a thoughtful set of questions — informed by how I design workshops and gather with people — that helps me understand where you are before we ever meet. Once I've reviewed your form, I'll reach out personally to talk about next steps. No obligation, just an honest conversation about fit.
